New In Signal at InnoTrans 2026
The InnoTrans 2026 fair in Berlin has once again proven itself as the leading international event for railway technology, with railway signalling and telecommunications taking an important stage. As representatives of New In Signal, we had the privilege of exploring the latest industry developments and networking with key players.
This year’s edition was full of wih groundbreaking innovations. One highlight was a further breakthrough in digitalization, moving from preventive maintenance to delegating some safety functions to AI-driven applications. Several exhibitors showcased AI-driven technologies that promise to revolutionize incident response and maintenance workflows. These systems aim to minimize delays and improve overall railway safety by predicting potential failures before they occur.
This year, there was also a strong focus on certification issues. We were honored to be guests on the stand of INFRACERT, one of Europe’s leading certification bodies in the field of NoBo, DeBo, AsBo, and ISA compliance. It was also great to see all other major certification bodies concentrated in the City Cube pavilion.
This year’s edition also featured a strong presence of suppliers from the Western Balkan region, led by the Institute “Mihajlo Pupin” Belgrade and ALTPRO Zagreb, who showcased their new signalling and telecom portfolio.
The visit to InnoTrans 2026 not only gave us a front-row seat to the latest advancements but also reinforced the importance of staying ahead in a rapidly evolving field. We’ll share many of these insights with our readers in upcoming editions of New In Signal.
